Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of Unigraph, a native Mac app made by Konigi (Michael Angeles). By downloading or using Unigraph, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

Your license to use the app

Unigraph is licensed to you, not sold. I give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on Macs you own or control, for your own use. You may not resell, redistribute, rent, or sublicense the app, or try to reverse-engineer it except where the law says you can't be stopped from doing so.

What you need to run it

Unigraph runs on macOS. Its AI features are optional and depend on one thing you bring yourself: an Anthropic API key, used under Anthropic's own terms and pricing. The AI features won't work without it, and I can't control or guarantee Anthropic's service. Everything else in the app works with no account and no key.

Payment and refunds

Checkout and payment are handled by Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record. Your payment is with them, under Lemon Squeezy's terms.

If something goes wrong with a payment or you'd like a refund, email hello@konigi.com and I'll sort it out with you.

Your notes are yours

Unigraph works with markdown files on your own Mac. You own your writing, and nothing in these terms gives me any claim to it. How your data is handled is covered in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Don't use Unigraph to break the law or to interfere with the app's security or other people's use of it.

The app is provided "as is"

I work hard to make Unigraph good, but it comes without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Unigraph is provided "as is" and "as available," without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. You're responsible for keeping your own backups of your notes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Konigi and Michael Angeles won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Unigraph, including lost data or lost profits. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

I may update the app and these terms over time. When the terms change, I'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Unigraph after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
